Biography: I began my ‘sales’ career in the industrial sector of the business in 1983 and transitioned to working as a salesperson for Industrial Uniform Company during 1983-1989 based out of Boston. And I won a trip to Italy in 1988 and then in 1989 won a trip to Florida’s Disney World where I took all four of my children.
In 1990 and through to 1995 I represented manufacturers and distributors of flexible packaging supplies and equipment with National Packaging, KPI Bradco Product Manager ID Systems, United Sales Company, and Sales NE. Covering New England and parts of Canada I sold bar coding equipment for the fishing industry from 1995-2000 at Mark C Specialties out of Torrington, CT and AT Information Products based in Mawaw, New Jersey as the New England Representative.
In 2000 I started my own business, SPW Enterprises LLC to both sell and service bar code labeling equipment for all local businesses and for all eight of the NStar Electric locations in Massachusetts.
And then in 2003 I received my real estate license and am currently a Realtor with Silva Realty Group Inc. where I handle all types of real estate sales for both buyers and sellers. My company also has a strong presence in the department of REO also known as Bank Owned Properties. During a purchase or listing sales cycle, our office may have a requirement that some of the documents would need to be notarized so I became certified as a Notary of Massachusetts to both help my office, our banking clients, and residential clients as well. The new addition to my portfolio as a Notary allows me to accommodate my work associates, networking group, colleagues, friends and of course family.
During Covid-19, I’ve discovered that supporting clients on an exclusive and private level on zoom has helped me to help and support my clients on a deeper level.
I currently reside in the Greater New Bedford area, and have four grown children and eight grandchildren.
