Biography: After being let go in 2007 from her full-time job of 18 years, Judie’s husband was diagnosed with cancer and very sadly passed away within a few short months. At the time they owned a two-family home and their tenant also moved out. Judie was forced to sell their home and had a very difficult time making ends meet. She had no other choice but to move into a shelter for women. During every step of her journey, Judie didn’t know where to turn or have access to any resources that could help her. Judie knew in her heart that she was not alone. And that’s where starting the non-profit came in along with hosting her cable show for 13 years “Life Issues” was born.
